I'm always a bit sceptical when it comes to Gijinka because most people simply put on a pair of ears, a tail and sew a dress - and that's it!
But yours is really well-made and it totally fits and captures the character of the pokemon while still looking completely human. It's truly a human version of Ho-Oh not to mention the picture itself is wonderful.
Yeah, I understand you problem with gijinkas... I'm feeling the same way about it... the most time.. something just doesn't feel right about the costumes... I personally love wings but would never have made a 'real' pair for a human version. And then I think the second most important part about gijinka is the way the photos of the costume are taken... A convention photo of a gijinka version of a pokemon would never satisfy me. And thank you of course. (Going to write a comment to your wizard as soon as I find time for it (going to bed now))
Thank you very much! I wanted the design to be close to the orginal without making it with real animal attributs. First I wanted to wait until fall when the leafs are golden... But then I decided to shot the cosplay before the convention I'm going to wear it... I really love the way tje photo was taken.
